As a new and growing artist I have cultivated a love and passion, for photographing things that go unnoticed from our day to day activities. What is often missed is a representation of beauty, color, strength, and delicateness. For this reason I feel it fitting to title my collection “In a big world lies a little world unseen”.

As a native Bostonian I grew up surrounded by beauty in nature from living near the coast of the Atlantic Ocean to taking day trips to Cape Cod to marvel in the beauty of sand dunes and lighthouses. What I didn’t realize at the time is that I was letting precious memories slip away because I had not yet picked up a camera on a consistent basis to document them.

I immensely enjoy macro photography or what is sometimes called micro photography, and it focuses on photographing things up close. In essence with a dedicated macro lens I am able to capture the finer details of an object that can virtually go unnoticed to the human eye. What I find as a result is a new world available to explore, marvel, respect, and appreciate. Life is meant to be documented and enjoyed and my camera allows me to do this whenever the feeling inspires me too. I sincerely hope you enjoy my collection and are compelled to pick up a camera too!
