Angel Sullivan:
Photography is a spiritual experience. I am able to connect with God, and the beauty of creation through my camera lens in a way that I could not otherwise. I was introduced to photography when I was in college. My first professional camera was a 35mm Pentax. I spent hours shooting in black and white, and even more hours in my basement developing film and printing pictures.
I stopped taking photographs for several years, and I recently started back in the new digital world. I am relearning this art, but it is worth it.
I enjoy all types of photography, but I am most connected to landscape photography. When I am walking in a park or garden I don’t see just tress and flowers, but I see colors, shapes, and shadows and I exist in a world within a world.
